Flowering Teas

Flowering teas are a rather recent innovation coming out of China. These utilize a number of colorful flowers and various teas to provide a truly stunning visual experience along with a great tea. They start with a tightly compressed tea ball, referred to as a blossom, that is dropped into extremely hot water and a glass tea pot. After several minutes, the blossom begins to open, or “Flower” or “Blossom”. The visual effect is wonderful to behold, and the quality of the tea is also quite good. We offer a number of different types of ‘blossoming” or “flowering’ teas. These are sold by the individual blossom, and come in Black, Green and White tea varieties.
