Afternoon Tea Fare

Our Afternoon Tea selections are comprised of various combinations of the traditional three-tiered full Afternoon Tea serving pictured below. The top tier consists of scones and spreads, the second-tier consists of delicate and creative finger sandwiches, fruit garnishes and deviled eggs. While the bottom-tier offers up our tempting selection of pastries, chocolates and treats for dessert. Depending upon the occassion or appetite, each tier is offered in a 'cumulative' manner. For those wishing a light snack of scones and spreads, the top tier is offered just by itself, referred to as The Commoner, and is served throughout the entire day. Those with a bit more of an appetite can order the top two tiers (skipping the bottom desserts), referred to as the Princess Tea, to enjoy both our scones as well as our daily selection of finger sandwiches and fruit. Those who thrive on sweets and pastries can always order all three tiers as the full Queen Tea show here below, and perhaps even add a glass of sherry, champagne or mimosa to it to create our Royal Tea. Understandably, each and every Princess, Queen or Royal Tea requires the full attention of our kitchen staff to ensure the quality and attention to detail and presentation that our Guests have come to expect. Because of this, we can only offer the Princess and Queen Teas after 2:00 PM to assure that our Lunch time patrons are not impacted by the time it takes us to create our afternoon presentations. Hopefully you will understand this time-consuming effort and make an advanced reservation so that we may have the opportunity to get a head-start on preparing your very own Afternoon Tea.

The Commoner is just the top-most tier served by itself. It consists of a British scone and an American scone, along with our special homemade Lemon Curd, traditional British Clotted Cream and genuine Montana Huckleberry Jam (how could we offer anything less when we are in the heart of huckleberry country! ) The Commoner comes with a pot of Fine Tea of your chosing, is available throughout the entire day and is offered on a per person basis.

The Princess Tea is a combination of the top two tiers of the full Tea Service. Think of it as ordering tiers one and two, without dessert tier #3. The scones of Tier #1 are as descibed above; and Tier #2 consists of three delectable finger sandwiches, deviled egg, and fruit garnishes. The Princess Tea comes with a pot of Fine Tea of your chosing and is offered on a per person basis. Because of the time required to prepare a Princess Tea, it is only available after 2 PM, with advanced reservations GREATLY appreciated.

The Little Tyke |

The Little Tyke is for our younger Enthusiasts. Peanut Butter & Huckleberry Jam sandwiches, carrot sticks and a brownie seem to satisfy most of our Guests. But just in case, we offer their choice of any of our Bubble Teas just to be sure to please! Egg salad sandwiches are also a ready substitution here as well. This is again a per person offering and is also available only after 2 PM.
